Plum Terms of Service
- Effective Date: September 15, 2026
- Last Updated: September 16, 2026
1. Entity, Scope, and Acceptance
Welcome to Plum.
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are an agreement between you and Within Tech Limited ("Within Tech," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the Plum services. Within Tech Limited is a company incorporated in Hong Kong.
Plum is our AI-powered interactive entertainment product. These Terms apply to the websites, mobile applications, product features, and related services that we operate and that expressly link to or reference these Terms, including the current plum.top website and the Plum product (collectively, the "Service").
The Plum Community Guidelines form part of these Terms. The Plum Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information. Additional rules may be displayed for specific features, promotions, or purchases. Those additional rules apply only to the relevant feature, promotion, or transaction. If they conflict with these Terms, they will control only with respect to that specific matter, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
By creating an account, clicking to accept these Terms, or accessing, purchasing, or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not register for, purchase, or use the Service.
Our registered address is Unit B, 8/F, 235 Wing Lok Street Trade Centre, 235 Wing Lok Street, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong.
2. Eligibility and Age Requirements
You may use Plum only if you:
- are at least 18 years old;
- have reached the legal age required to enter into a binding contract where you live and have the legal capacity to accept these Terms;
- are not prohibited by applicable law from using the Service; and
- have not previously been permanently banned from Plum for a serious violation, unless we have expressly permitted you to use the Service again.
Plum is not directed to anyone under 18 and does not offer a path for minors to use the Service with parental or guardian consent. By creating an account or using the Service, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements. You must provide truthful and accurate age information and must not evade or help others evade our age restrictions.
All interactive characters that you create or publish must be expressly established and presented as adults. Additional content requirements are set out in the Plum Community Guidelines.
We may use age-assurance measures appropriate to applicable law, platform safety needs, and the relevant risk. If we reasonably believe that you are under 18, have provided inaccurate age information, or are evading an age restriction, we may request additional information, temporarily restrict the Service, remove relevant content, or terminate your account. We will process any related personal information in accordance with the Plum Privacy Policy and applicable law.
3. Account Registration and Security
When creating an account, you must provide the information we request truthfully, accurately, and completely, and keep it up to date. You may use a nickname or fictional name, but you may not impersonate another person, falsely claim an affiliation or authorization, or use an account to engage in fraud, infringement, harassment, or other unlawful conduct.
Your account is for your personal use only. Unless we expressly permit otherwise, you may not sell, transfer, rent, lend, or share your account, or create or use other accounts to evade age restrictions, account restrictions, content enforcement, payment rules, or other platform measures.
You must take reasonable steps to protect your login credentials and account. To the extent permitted by applicable law, you are responsible for losses caused by your failure to protect your login credentials or promptly report unauthorized access.
If you discover or suspect unauthorized access, compromised login credentials, or another security issue, promptly contact us at support@plum.top. To protect you, other users, or the Service, we may require reasonable identity or account verification, reset login credentials, temporarily restrict an account or feature, or take other necessary measures.
4. The Service and the Nature of AI
Plum is an entertainment platform for adults to create and interact with AI characters. Users may create and customize fictional characters and story settings, develop stories through ongoing text interactions, and use features such as conversation history, memory, and personalized content.
You understand and agree that:
- character responses are generated by generative AI based on your input, character settings, and relevant context. Characters are fictional, are not real people, and do not possess real consciousness, emotions, identities, authority, or professional qualifications;
- AI outputs are probabilistic and may be inaccurate, incomplete, inappropriate, biased, offensive, or similar to content generated for other users;
- we do not guarantee that any output is unique, authentic, factually accurate, complete, or suitable for your particular purpose;
- you must evaluate outputs in light of how you intend to use them. You must not treat outputs as medical, mental health, legal, financial, tax, or other professional advice, or rely on them in a real-world emergency; and
- character relationships and story content are fictional interactions and do not constitute a promise, recommendation, or relationship with a real person.
Plum and any safety notice displayed in the Service are not substitutes for emergency services or professional assistance. If there is a real and imminent risk of harm, contact local emergency services or a trusted source of real-world support.
5. Community Guidelines and Content Standards
You must comply with the Plum Community Guidelines when using the Service. The Community Guidelines form part of these Terms and apply to character names, descriptions, settings, tags, opening content, images, comments, user inputs, AI outputs, conversation history, memories, and other content and conduct within the Service.
Our core safety rules apply to both public content and private interactions. Public characters and content are also subject to stricter standards for display, recommendation, and rights review. Private interactions are not publicly displayed by default, but they remain subject to the Community Guidelines.
You are responsible for evaluating User Content and AI Outputs and assume the risks of using them. We may take action against User Content, AI Outputs, or related conduct that violates these Terms or the Community Guidelines.
Different content ratings, story modes, or models do not override the core safety rules in the Community Guidelines.
6. Prohibited Uses
In addition to the content restrictions in the Community Guidelines, you may not engage in, attempt, or assist anyone else with any of the following:
- violate applicable law or use the Service to facilitate unlawful conduct, infringement, fraud, harassment, exploitation, or real-world harm;
- access accounts, systems, interfaces, data, or networks without authorization, or test, scan, or exploit security vulnerabilities;
- upload viruses, malicious code, or other material that may damage, disrupt, or overload the Service or another person's device;
- evade age gates, content moderation, access restrictions, payment restrictions, risk controls, or other technical safeguards;
- use bots, crawlers, scripts, or other automated means to register accounts in bulk or scrape, download, copy, publish, or manipulate the Service, except through a public interface in compliance with its rules or through search-engine indexing that we expressly permit;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code from the Service, except where applicable law does not permit this restriction or an applicable open-source license expressly allows it;
- manipulate recommendations, ratings, favorites, referrals, tasks, promotions, Crystals, creator rewards, or other platform systems;
- sell, rent, sublicense, redistribute, or otherwise commercially exploit the Service or platform content without authorization;
- use content obtained from other Plum users or creators to train a model, build a competing dataset, or replicate the product at scale, unless you have express authorization from the relevant rights holders and us, or applicable law expressly permits the activity and does not permit contractual restriction;
- send spam, unsolicited promotions, malicious links, or other bulk harassing communications; or
- interfere with another person's normal use of the Service.
7. User Content and Your Responsibilities
"User Content" means content that you input, upload, create, submit, send, or make public through the Service, including character settings, stories, prompts, opening content, images, avatars, comments, chat inputs, memories that you add or edit, and other materials. AI Outputs generated automatically by the Service are not User Content for purposes of this definition; rights and responsibilities concerning AI Outputs are addressed in Section 10. Product suggestions and other Feedback that you choose to provide are addressed in Section 20.
You retain the rights you lawfully hold in your original User Content. You are solely responsible for all User Content you submit and for the consequences of doing so. You represent and warrant that:
- you own the User Content or have all legal bases, rights, licenses, permissions, and authorizations needed to submit and use it and to grant the licenses described in these Terms;
- the User Content and our processing of it as permitted by these Terms will not infringe or violate any person's copyright, trademark, privacy, data protection, image, voice, publicity, or other legal rights;
- if the User Content includes another person's personal information, image, or voice, you have obtained any authorization required by applicable law; and
- the User Content complies with these Terms and the Community Guidelines.
You must independently evaluate AI Outputs and assume the risks arising from your use, reliance, publication, sharing, adaptation, or commercial use of them. You must not rely on their accuracy or completeness. The use of AI does not automatically make content lawful and does not relieve you of your responsibility to verify relevant rights and comply with applicable rules.
8. Ownership of User Content and the License You Grant Plum
You retain ownership of the rights you lawfully hold in your original User Content. The licenses granted to Plum under this Section do not transfer that ownership to Plum.
Public Content. When you designate a character or other content as public or submit it for public release, you grant Plum a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable, perpetual, and irrevocable license to use, reproduce, display, promote, commercialize, modify, and create derivative works from that Public Content inside and outside the Service, and to allow other users to view and share the Public Content and interact with public characters.
Unless we agree otherwise in writing, Plum is not required to obtain additional permission from you or pay you for each use permitted by this license. A username, public avatar, or creator attribution included with Public Content may be used only to identify the source and to display, promote, or otherwise use the relevant content. It does not imply your personal endorsement of Plum or any third party.
Private Content. For private chats, private characters, private memories, and other content that you have not made public, you grant Plum a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, limited license, sublicensable to service providers only as necessary, to provide and maintain the Service for you; generate responses; maintain conversation continuity; provide memory features; conduct safety and fraud-prevention measures; handle support requests and complaints; troubleshoot issues; improve features you use; and comply with legal obligations. This license does not permit Plum to publicly display, advertise, externally commercialize, or create public-facing derivative works from Private Content unless you choose to make it public or separately give your express consent.
Any processing for service improvement remains subject to the Privacy Policy and, in particular, does not allow us to bypass any restriction in that policy concerning Private Content or general-purpose model training.
The Public Content license is perpetual and irrevocable. Deleting Public Content or your account therefore does not revoke the license already granted to Plum. We will nevertheless handle original content, account information, and personal information in accordance with available deletion features and the Privacy Policy. Promotional materials, commercial materials, adaptations, derivative works, and sublicenses already created or issued may continue to be used. The Private Content license ends after completion of reasonable technical deletion, backup rotation, dispute handling, and legal obligations. Irreversibly de-identified or aggregated data that is no longer personal information is not subject to that termination.
9. Public and Private Content
Characters, names, avatars, descriptions, tags, opening content, comments, and other materials that you designate as public or submit for public release may be viewed, searched, favorited, rated, shared, or used by other users to interact with the relevant character. Do not include personal information in Public Content that you do not want to make public.
Private chats, private characters, and private memories are not displayed as Public Content by default.
If you export, screenshot, copy, or share content with another person, Plum may no longer control how the recipient uses that copy.
10. Rights in AI Inputs, Outputs, and Characters
User Content, character settings, AI Inputs, and AI Outputs may involve rights belonging to you, character creators, Plum, model providers, or third parties. You retain the rights you lawfully hold in your original inputs and original character settings. These Terms do not transfer ownership of those rights to Plum.
As between you and Plum, and to the extent permitted by applicable law without affecting pre-existing rights held by character creators, Plum, or third parties, you own the AI Outputs generated through your interactions with the Service. To the extent Plum owns any transferable right in those AI Outputs, Plum assigns that right to you. If you publicly release an AI Output or incorporate it into a public character, story, or other Public Content, the Public Content license in Section 8 also applies to that material.
You understand that:
- some jurisdictions may not recognize copyright in content generated solely by AI;
- outputs may not be unique and may resemble outputs generated for others, existing works, or factual information;
- we do not guarantee that an output does not infringe third-party rights, and you must conduct your own review before publishing or commercially using it;
- pre-existing rights in another person's character, Plum materials, or third-party content contained in an AI Output are not transferred to you;
- interacting with a character created by another person does not give you rights in that character, its settings, another user's conversations, or content generated for another user; and
- a public-character creator permits other users to interact with that character through Plum and receive personalized outputs, but that permission does not by itself allow a user to copy, sell, or operate the character outside Plum.
11. Content Moderation and Enforcement
We may use automated systems and authorized personnel to identify risks and review or investigate User Content and use of the Service. Public characters and their updates must complete the applicable review process before publication. Matters that automated systems cannot determine with sufficient confidence, or that involve higher risk, may be referred for human review.
If we determine that content or conduct violates these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or applicable law, or may harm users, third parties, or the Service, we may take one or more actions at our discretion. These actions may include providing a safety response; blocking generation; refusing publication; requiring changes; reducing distribution; removing content; restricting features; freezing or reversing Crystals or rewards associated with fraud, improper acquisition, or reward abuse; suspending or terminating an account; preserving necessary records; and reporting a matter to relevant authorities as permitted or required by law.
Purchasing or holding Crystals does not exempt any content, request, or account from moderation or enforcement and does not guarantee that every AI request will generate an output, return a complete result, or meet your expectations. A request blocked under applicable rules or content subject to enforcement does not by itself create a right to a refund. Rights provided by applicable law and billing or technical failures attributable to Plum are not affected.
For matters involving child sexual abuse material, credible threats of violence, human trafficking, significant fraud, account intrusion, or other imminent risks, we may immediately restrict access, remove content, preserve evidence, or make reports as permitted or required by law.
12. Nature of Crystals
Crystals are digital consumption credits used to access specified features within Plum. Crystals are not fiat currency, electronic money, a deposit, a stored-value account, a security, an investment product, or a cryptocurrency, and they do not accrue interest or investment returns.
Crystals may be used only for specified features under applicable Plum rules. They may not be sold, transferred, traded, or gifted between users, and they may not be withdrawn or redeemed for cash.
You receive a limited right to use specified Service features, not ownership of Crystals or a claim against funds held by Plum.
13. Obtaining, Expiration, and Use of Crystals
You may obtain Crystals through one-time purchases and through registration or onboarding tasks, daily tasks, referrals, promotions, creator rewards, compensation, or accounting corrections that Plum may offer from time to time. Crystals from different sources may have different expiration periods and conditions of use, as disclosed when you receive them.
Permanent Crystals obtained through a one-time purchase do not expire merely with the passage of time. The expiration period for Crystals obtained through grants, tasks, referrals, promotions, or creator rewards will be disclosed when you receive them.
Crystals may be used for AI features designated by Plum. The applicable amount or method of calculation will be displayed in the relevant product interface. If you hold Crystals with different expiration dates, we will use the Crystals that expire sooner before using Permanent Crystals.
Unless applicable law provides otherwise, non-purchased Crystals that expire cannot be restored or redeemed for cash.
14. Purchases, Pricing, Taxes, and Payment
Only users aged 18 or older may purchase Crystals. If Plum offers Crystal purchases, the purchase page will display the price, currency, number of Crystals, expiration terms, applicable taxes, refund terms, and other material conditions. You should review this information before payment.
By confirming a purchase, you authorize the applicable payment provider to charge your selected payment method once for the amount shown on the purchase page. Payments may be processed by a third-party payment provider or merchant of record, whose own terms and privacy policy may also apply.
Except for order, payment-status, risk, and necessary accounting information provided to us by a payment provider, we do not intentionally store complete payment card numbers or card security codes.
We may change the prices, number of Crystals, and purchase packages offered for future purchases. We will not retroactively increase the price of a completed purchase or reduce Crystals already credited to your account as a result of such a change. Applicable taxes may be included in the displayed price or shown separately and will be identified on the purchase page or payment receipt.
15. Refunds and Payment Disputes
Except as required by applicable law or expressly stated on the purchase page or in an applicable refund policy, completed purchases are generally final and non-refundable, and Crystals cannot be redeemed for cash.
If you believe there is a legitimate basis for a refund, contact us at support@plum.top and provide your account information, order number, transaction date, amount, and reason for the request. We or the payment provider may verify the order, delivery of Crystals, and usage history and may determine whether to approve a refund.
If a refund is approved, we may reverse the Crystals and any related grants or rewards associated with the transaction. If those Crystals have already been used, we may deduct the corresponding amount from your current or future balance or restrict benefits associated with the transaction.
If you experience a duplicate charge, do not receive Crystals after payment, identify an unauthorized transaction, or believe an accounting record is incorrect, contact us promptly. After verification, we may correct the record, issue replacement Crystals, or provide a refund.
If Crystal is deducted but the relevant feature is not provided because of a verified system failure, we will restore the corresponding amount of Crystal. This balance correction does not constitute a cash refund of the original purchase.
You may raise a payment dispute in accordance with applicable law and payment-provider rules. We may restrict purchases, rewards, or accounts and provide relevant evidence to a payment provider in response to fraud, misrepresentation, duplicate claims, or abuse of refund or chargeback processes.
16. Promotions, Referrals, and Creator Rewards
We may offer tasks, referrals, promotions, or creator rewards. Eligibility, amounts, expiration, settlement conditions, and promotion periods will be stated in the applicable rules. Unless expressly stated otherwise, rewards are issued only as Crystals and cannot be withdrawn or redeemed for cash.
You may not obtain rewards through self-referrals, related accounts, fake users, automation, refund arbitrage, inducement or coercion to spend, misleading promotions, content plagiarism, manipulation of engagement data, or other improper means. We may review unusual reward activity, delay issuance, reverse improperly obtained rewards, or restrict eligibility.
Creators may not use deception, coercion, false promises, or other improper means to induce user spending or obtain Crystals, rewards, or other benefits. A reward program does not create any employment, agency, partnership, brokerage, trust, or promise of cash income.
17. Third-Party Websites and Services
The Service may contain links or access points to third-party websites, applications, content, or other resources. We do not control or endorse those third-party services. Their own terms and privacy policies may apply when you use them.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for the content, availability, products, services, or transactions offered by third parties. Any transaction or dispute between you and a third party is between you and that third party, and you use third-party services at your own risk.
This Section does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
18. Plum Intellectual Property
Except for User Content and materials expressly identified as third-party content, the software, code, interfaces, visual design, brands, trademarks, logos, editorial content, database structures, and related technology in the Service are owned by Within Tech, its affiliates, or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, or otherwise exploit the Service or platform content. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by the relevant rights holders.
Without prior written permission, you may not use the Plum or Within Tech name, trademarks, or visual identity to suggest sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or official status.
19. Intellectual Property and Rights Complaints
If you believe that Public Content available through the Service infringes your copyright, trademark, image, voice, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights, email support@plum.top and provide, where possible:
- the name and contact details of the rights holder or authorized representative;
- identification and evidence of the relevant rights;
- a link, character identifier, or other identifier for the content at issue;
- an explanation of why you believe the content infringes your rights;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized;
- a statement that the information you provide is true and accurate; and
- any signature or identity-verification information reasonably required.
We may request additional information, temporarily restrict or remove the relevant content, notify the person who submitted it, and take action based on applicable law and the materials provided. A person who believes that a complaint was made in error may submit a response and evidence of relevant rights or authorization.
Do not submit false or malicious complaints. To handle a dispute, we may disclose information from a complaint or response to relevant parties, professional advisers, or authorities as reasonably necessary. We may restrict or terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the rights of others.
20. Feedback
If you provide Plum with questions, comments, suggestions, ideas, testing notes, or other feedback (collectively, "Feedback"), you agree that the Feedback is not confidential and that we may use it for any purpose, including developing, improving, operating, promoting, or commercializing Plum, without attribution or payment to you.
Private chats, character content, AI Outputs, and personal information do not become Feedback merely because you provide Feedback to us. They remain subject to the other provisions of these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
21. Suspension, Termination, and Account Deletion
You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion through an available in-Service method or by contacting support@plum.top. We may conduct identity verification reasonably necessary to process the request.
If we believe that you have violated these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or applicable law; may harm another user, a third party, the Service, or the payment system; or must be restricted to comply with a legal requirement, we may restrict, suspend, or terminate your account, a feature, or access to the Service and may remove related content at our discretion. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may take these actions without prior notice.
You may contact support@plum.top with questions about an enforcement action, but we do not guarantee that we will review or change a decision.
After account deletion or termination, you will no longer be able to access your account, related content, unused Crystals, or other benefits. Except as required by applicable law or provided in an applicable refund policy, those Crystals and benefits will not be refunded or restored.
After account deletion or termination, licenses already granted to us for Public Content continue under Section 8. Account data, Private Content, and personal information will be deleted or retained in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
22. Changes to the Service and These Terms
We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service to improve the product, maintain safety, or respond to legal or business changes. Where reasonably practicable, we will provide advance notice of changes that materially and adversely affect you. Urgent security, fraud-prevention, or legal requirements may require changes to take effect immediately.
We may also update these Terms. We will identify the date of an update and provide notice of material changes through the Service, by email, or through another reasonable method. Unless the notice states otherwise, material changes will take effect after a reasonable notice period. If applicable law requires renewed consent, we will obtain that consent before the change applies to you.
If you do not agree to updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and may delete your account through the applicable process.
23. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim all express, implied, and statutory warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that every defect will be corrected.
We do not warrant that AI Outputs, User Content, or third-party content made available or generated through the Service will be accurate, complete, reliable, unique, non-infringing, or suitable for any particular purpose. You use and rely on the Service and related content at your own risk.
Content moderation and safety measures are intended to reduce risk, but we do not warrant that they will identify, block, or remove all violating, harmful, or inappropriate content.
This Section does not exclude warranties, consumer rights, or liabilities that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
24. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Within Tech and its affiliates, directors, employees, agents, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, opportunity, business, or data, arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of or inability to use the Service, regardless of whether the alleged liability is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or another legal theory, and even if we have been advised of the possibility of those damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of:
- USD 100; or
- the amount you actually paid to Plum during the six months preceding the event giving rise to liability.
The exclusions and limitations in this Section do not apply to liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
25. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Within Tech, its affiliates, and each of their directors, employees, agents, licensors, and service providers from and against any third-party claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or relating to:
- your access to, use of, or misuse of the Service;
- User Content that you submit, or AI Outputs that you publish, share, adapt, or use commercially;
- your violation of these Terms or the Community Guidelines; or
- your violation of applicable law or any third-party right.
We may participate in or assume control of the defense and handling of a relevant claim, and you must provide reasonable cooperation. Without our prior written consent, you may not settle a claim in a manner that requires us to accept liability, make an admission, or perform an obligation.
26. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. This choice of law does not deprive you of any mandatory consumer protection provided by the law of your habitual residence that cannot be excluded by contract.
Before initiating formal legal proceedings, you and we must notify the other party of the dispute through support@plum.top and attempt in good faith to resolve it for 30 days. This requirement does not prevent either party from seeking urgent or interim relief and does not limit any right that cannot be waived under applicable law.
If the dispute is not resolved, you and we submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, except where applicable law permits or requires you to bring a claim in the courts of your habitual residence or another jurisdiction.
27. General Terms
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Community Guidelines, and any rules expressly incorporated on a purchase, promotion, or specific feature page constitute the entire agreement between you and us concerning the Service. Rules for a specific purchase, promotion, or feature take priority over these Terms only for the matter and to the extent expressly stated.
If any part of these Terms is held to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, it will be interpreted or modified to the minimum extent necessary to reflect its original purpose as closely as applicable law permits, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
Our failure or delay in exercising a right under these Terms does not waive that right. A waiver of one breach is not a waiver of a later breach of the same or any other provision.
You may not assign any right or obligation under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms and related rights and obligations to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, reorganization, financing, change of control, or transfer of assets or business. We will provide notice where required by applicable law.
These Terms do not create any partnership, joint venture, employment, agency, or franchise relationship between you and us, and neither party has authority to make a commitment on behalf of the other.
You agree that we may send notices concerning the Service and these Terms through the Service, to an email address associated with your account, or by another reasonable electronic method. To the extent permitted by applicable law, electronic notices satisfy any requirement that notice be given in writing.
Neither party is responsible for a delay or failure to perform caused by an event beyond its reasonable control, to the extent and for the duration of the event's impact, provided that the affected party takes reasonable steps to mitigate the impact.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination of these Terms, including provisions concerning content licenses, intellectual property, payment, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution, and these General Terms, will survive termination.
If we provide a version of these Terms in another language, that version is provided for convenience only. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the English version controls in the event of a conflict.
